The return of lamias and mermaids
On this circular mountain bike route from Bermeo, you’ll pass through Mundaka and the beautiful surroundings of the hermitage of Santa Catalina to then tackle the demanding climb to the Katillotxu mountain range, where one of the dolmen sites of Urdaibai is located.
You’ll then continue through Goierri and Zabale towards the summit of Mount Sollube, passing by the Roman necropolis of Tribisburu.
After resting and enjoying the views of this monte bocinero (where in the past, horns were sounded to announce the holding of the General Assembly), the descent to Gaztelugatxe and Matxitxako begins, allowing you to enjoy its scenic beauty and natural charm.
