Leaving Bermeo, the route heads towards Mundaka, passing through the beautiful surroundings of Santa Catalina, to climb steeply up to the Katillotxu mountain range, where one of the dolmen sites of Urdaibai is located. We continue through Goierri and Zabale, towards the summit of Sollube, passing along the road next to the Roman necropolis of Tribisburu.

We depart from Gernika in the direction of Belendiz, along the road. We climb Arrola to continue on to Nabarniz and tackle the climb to Mount Illuntzar. Without reaching the summit, we head towards Airo beech forest, where we take the wide track that takes us to Ereño. We continue towards Akorda and cross the oak grove, where we can climb to the beautiful summit of Atxarre.
